RRC Solutions Group in La Grande, Oregon is seeking a Psychiatrist to join our rural hospital team. This permanent, full-time role offers four 10-hour days and a day shift, with relocation assistance.

You will lead behavioral health initiatives, provide evaluations, pharmacologic management, and collaborate with primary care and trauma services in a Level IV center. Epic EMR experience preferred.

Qualifikationen

• MD degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency.
• Active, unrestricted State Medical License.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Psychiatry.

Aufgaben

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and follow-up care for a diverse rural patient population.
• Oversee pharmacological treatments and monitor patient progress to ensure therapeutic efficacy and safety.
• Partner with Primary Care providers and Behavioral Health specialists to provide a "whole-patient" approach to health.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic mental health conditions (e.g., depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use disorders).
• Serve as a subject matter expert for the behavioral health team, contributing to workforce training and the development of clinical protocols.
• Utilize Epic EMR for timely and accurate clinical charting.
• Provide consultation within the Level IV Trauma Center environment when psychiatric expertise is required for acute patient stabilization.
• Participate in community-based initiatives to reduce the stigma of mental health and improve access to care in the region

Ausbildung

Medical Degree (MD) from an accredited school

ACGME-accredited Residency in Psychiatry

Active, unrestricted State Medical License

Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Psychiatry
