Job summary

Workforce Recruiter seeks a Psychiatrist to join a Critical Access Hospital and Level IV Trauma Center in rural Eastern Oregon. Four 10-hour days, day shift, with relocation assistance provided. Must hold MD and complete Psychiatry residency, with an active license and board eligibility/certification.

Qualifications

• MD from an accredited medical school.
• Residency in Psychiatry completed via ACGME.
• Active, unrestricted state medical license.
• Board certification or board eligibility in General Psychiatry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and follow-up care for a rural patient population.
• Oversee pharmacological treatments and monitor progress for safety and efficacy.
• Collaborate with primary care and behavioral health teams for holistic care.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use disorders.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and contribute to clinical protocols and training.
• Utilize Epic EMR for timely and accurate charting.
• Provide psychiatric consultation in trauma center settings for acute stabilization.
• Participate in community initiatives to improve access to mental health care.

Education

MD (Medical Degree)

ACGME Psychiatry Residency

Active, unrestricted State Medical License

Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Psychiatry
