Confident Search Consultants in La Grande, Oregon is seeking a Psychiatrist for a permanent, full-time position in a rural hospital setting. Relocation assistance provided and four 10-hour days, day shift.

You will oversee psychiatric evaluations, pharmacologic treatments, and collaborate with primary care and behavioral health teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care within a Level IV trauma center. Epic EMR is used for charting.

Competenze

• MD from an accredited school and completed Psychiatry residency.
• Active, unrestricted state medical license.
• Board certified or board eligible in General Psychiatry.

Mansioni

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and follow-up care for diverse rural patients.
• Oversee pharmacological treatments and monitor progress for safety and efficacy.
• Collaborate with Primary Care and Behavioral Health teams for a whole-patient approach.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans for mental health conditions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, contributing to clinical protocols and training.
• Utilize Epic EMR for timely charting and documentation.
• Provide psychiatric consultation within a Level IV Trauma Center when needed.
• Engage in community initiatives to reduce stigma and improve access to care.
