Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a Psychiatrist for a permanent, full-time position in La Grande, OR. Four 10-hour days, Day shift, with relocation assistance.

Compensation ranges from $350K to $385K+ annually. Rural Eastern Oregon location supports autonomy within a Level IV Trauma Center and expanded behavioral health services. You will collaborate with primary care and behavioral health teams, use Epic EMR, and contribute to workforce training and clinical protocols.

Qualifications

• MD from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Residency in Psychiatry.
• Active, unrestricted State Medical License.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Psychiatry.
• Strong commitment to high-quality care in a community-oriented environment.

Responsabilités

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and follow-up care for a diverse rural patient population.
• Oversee pharmacological treatments and monitor patient progress for efficacy and safety.
• Partner with Primary Care and Behavioral Health teams for holistic patient care.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic mental health conditions.
• Serve as SME for the behavioral health team and contribute to clinical protocols.
• Utilize Epic EMR for timely and accurate charting.
• Provide consultation within the Level IV Trauma Center for acute patient stabilization.
• Participate in community initiatives to reduce stigma and improve access to care.
