Job summary

Calqulate in La Grande, OR is seeking a Psychiatrist to join a rural Critical Access Hospital and Level IV Trauma Center. This permanent, full-time role offers autonomy, a supportive team, and the opportunity to grow behavioral health and primary care services in the community.

You will conduct psychiatric evaluations, oversee medications, collaborate with primary care and behavioral health colleagues, and use Epic EMR for charting.

Qualifications

• MD degree from an accredited school.
• ACGME Psychiatry Residency completed.
• Active, unrestricted State Medical License.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Psychiatry.
• Commitment to high-quality, community-oriented care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and follow-up care for rural patients.
• Oversee pharmacological treatments and monitor progress.
• Partner with primary care and behavioral health teams for whole-patient care.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for mental health conditions.
• Serve as subject matter expert and contribute to clinical protocols.
• Utilize Epic EMR for timely, accurate charting.
• Provide consultation within Level IV trauma center for acute stabilization.
• Participate in regional efforts to reduce stigma and improve access.
