Job summary

Signature Aviation in New York seeks an Airside Experience Specialist to deliver luxury hospitality alongside hands-on ground services for guests, crew, and aircraft. You will operate ground support equipment and engage guests with a service-first mindset.

The role requires flexibility for nights, weekends and holidays and entails working outdoors around active aircraft in varying weather. Safety and teamwork are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass company background checks, drug tests, and airport background checks.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the jurisdiction of employment.
• Excellent vision and coordination to move and inspect aircraft fuel.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license; CDL may be required in some locations.
• Good judgment and ability to follow directives from management.
• Preferred: 3–6 months experience in aviation or customer service.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to conduct airside operations safely according to SOPs.
• Collaborate with guests, clients, vendors, and aircraft crewmembers to meet service needs.
• Prepare for arriving/departing aircraft and identify open tasks; raise safety concerns.
• Operate ground service equipment such as fuel trucks, de-icing trucks, and tugs.
• Load/unload luggage and cargo; assist guests and vehicles as needed.
• Provide professional, friendly guest service to ensure exceptional experiences.
• Offer safe transportation when driving shuttle vehicles for guests and luggage.
• Maintain safe, clean ramps and operations.
• Fuel handling including quality control, receipt, and inventory documentation.
• Understand and enforce all safety, security, and guest service requirements.
• Stop unsafe work and report concerns to management as necessary.
• Follow emergency procedures during critical events.
• Comply with security protocols; create accurate records of hours worked and services performed.
