Job summary

Sedgwick Claims Management Services Ltd seeks a Return-to-Work Representative to negotiate, facilitate, and monitor successful RTW for claimants. You will support case management staff and work with clients, providers, and employers to define job requirements and accommodations.

Responsibilities include documenting processes, adhering to regulations, and maintaining client contact to adjust plans as needed. Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• At least 3 years of related experience including RTW or job accommodation experience, or 3 years in claims management.

Responsibilities

• Determines objective, medically supported work restrictions for claims.
• Facilitates RTW and accommodations through negotiation; documents all related information.
• Adheres to medical and legal regulations in written communications.
• Contacts employers to determine job requirements and potential adaptive equipment.
• Maintains regular contact with clients after placement and updates plans.
• Collaborates with team to transition from medical case management to job placement.
• Performs other duties related to accommodation/RTW evaluation as needed.
