Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Return-to-Work Representative to help negotiate, facilitate, and monitor successful RTW for claimants in line with disability duration guidelines. You’ll support case management staff with decisions on suitable positions and maintain detailed claim records.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, plus experience in claims management or RTW processes. Collaboration with clients and employers is essential to ensure smooth transitions.

Qualifications

• Three years of related experience including one year of return-to-work or job accommodation experience or three years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• HS Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Determines objective, quantifiable, medically supported work restrictions for assigned claims.
• Facilitates return-to-work and accommodation efforts through negotiation with client, treatment provider and claimant; completes all related documentation.
• Adheres to medical and legal regulations and accreditation standards in written communication.
• Contacts employers to determine specific employment area details and recommends adaptive equipment as needed.
• Maintains regular contact with clients and supports transition from medical case management to job placement.
• Performs other tasks related to accommodation/RTW evaluation and work adjustment.
