Qualifications

• 2 years Workers' Compensation claim handling experience.
• Analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Negotiation and dispute resolution abilities.
• Knowledge of insurance contracts and regulations.
• Ability to coordinate with medical providers and legal teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations to determine compensability and coverage.
• Establish and update reserves; document rationale for reserves.
• Manage files with timely contacts and clear documentation.
• Collaborate with medical case managers and legal resources to resolve claims.
• Negotiate settlements within authority; consider structured settlements when appropriate.
• Pursue offset opportunities, subrogation and fraud assessments.
• Work with state-specific requirements and maintain education credits.
