The role emphasizes evaluation, treatment, and education for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders under the supervision of the Respiratory Care Manager.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Active Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner license or immediate eligibility.
• Active NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct cardiopulmonary care including aerosol therapies and chest physiotherapy.
• Manage mechanical ventilation setup and arterial blood gas sampling.
• Monitor treatment responses and adjust protocols with physicians.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and home therapy.
• Adhere to CQI initiatives and hospital safety/regulatory standards.
