Job summary

Joseph Michaels International is partnering with a premier Montana healthcare system to recruit a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for on-site care in Great Falls. The role focuses on evaluating and treating patients with cardiopulmonary disorders, performing diagnostic testing, and managing ventilator support in a setting with favorable nurse-to-therapist ratios.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Active Montana license or eligibility; NBRC RRT credential.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Strong safety, infection control, and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct cardiopulmonary care including aerosol therapies, chest physiotherapy, ventilator setup/management, arterial blood gas sampling/analysis, and diagnostic testing.
• Conduct patient clinical evaluations, monitor treatment responses, adjust protocols with physicians, and document outcomes.
• Respond to emergencies (code blue, rapid responses, trauma) and provide critical respiratory support across units.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and home therapy equipment.
• Adhere to CQI initiatives and hospital safety standards.
