Job summary

Advocate Health in Concord, NC seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide critical care airway management and ventilator support in a 36-hour weekly night shift. You will conduct prescribed therapies, document results, and collaborate with the care team.

Requirements include NBRC RRT, NC licensure, and BLS; Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy with BSRT preferred. Sign-on bonus eligible; comprehensive benefits and development opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Credentialed as Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC is required.
• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in NC is required.
• Basic Life Support for healthcare providers through the American Heart Association is required.
• Associate's degree in respiratory therapy required; BS/BA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates and monitors respiratory care equipment including ventilators.
• Administers prescribed respiratory therapies and monitoring of patient response.
• Initiates and maintains mechanical and non-invasive ventilation.
• Documents therapy results and communicates with healthcare team.
• Completes safety and regulatory requirements for respiratory care.
• Performs blood gas analyses and interprets results to guide therapy.
• Works independently across patient care areas and references EMR interfaces.
