Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join the Cabarrus Respiratory Therapy Services. This full-time night shift role is 36 hours per week, with a sign-on bonus eligible.

Required: NBRC‑certified RRT, current state license, and an Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy; BS preferred. You will administer and monitor oxygen delivery, operate mechanical and noninvasive ventilators, document therapy in the EMR, and collaborate with the care team.

Qualifications

• Requires Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential with NBRC
• Current state licensure as Respiratory Care Practitioner/RT
• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy required; BS preferred

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge in oxygen delivery and equipment; conducts prescribed therapies
• Administers procedures, monitors effects, and explains benefits and risks
• Operates and maintains mechanical and non-invasive ventilators
• Documents therapy and outcomes in EMR and maintains regulatory compliance
• Communicates with healthcare team and participates in care planning
