Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist for the night shift to join the Respiratory Therapy Services team. You will administer therapies, monitor ventilators, document results, and collaborate with the care team to ensure patient safety and effective oxygenation.

Applicants must be NBRC-registered as an RRT, hold state licensure, BLS, and have an accredited respiratory therapy education; BSRT preferred. The role offers a sign-on bonus, full-time schedule (7 p.m.

Formación

• Licensure as Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC required
• Currently licensed as Respiratory Care Practitioner/Licensed Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support for healthcare providers through AHA required
• Advanced certification as per facility/department

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates knowledge of oxygen delivery modes and related equipment and conducts prescribed therapies
• Administers therapeutic procedures and performs diagnostic procedures as per policy
• Initiates, monitors, and maintains ventilators (mechanical and non-invasive)
• Evaluates therapies and makes recommendations on plans of care and patient education
• Documents therapy results and communicates with the healthcare team
• Performs blood gas analysis and interprets results for management decisions
• Works independently across care areas and is proficient with EMR systems
• Follows safety guidelines and completes regulatory requirements
