Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join the Cabarrus Respiratory Therapy Services team in Concord, NC. The role is full-time on nights, 36 hours per week, with a sign-on bonus eligible.

The position involves delivering prescribed respiratory therapies, monitoring ventilators, and documenting results in the electronic medical record. Qualified candidates must hold an Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy with an active NBRC RRT credential and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or eligible.
• Current Basic Life Support for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of oxygen delivery methods and equipment.
• Administers and evaluates respiratory therapies.
• Maintains ventilator support and monitors patients.
• Documents therapy results in EMR and communicates with care team.
• Completes regulatory requirements and annual proficiency evaluations.
