Job summary

Bowman Consulting is seeking a Right of Way Director to lead the ROW department in the Northeast U.S. and drive successful project delivery. The role emphasizes strategic oversight, staff leadership, and client relationship development across multiple projects.

The candidate will manage budgets, schedules and staffing, ensuring high-quality ROW solutions while coordinating with other departments to meet client requirements and grow business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent ROW experience.
• 15+ years in land/right of way, with 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of ROW, project management, title, permitting, budgeting and due diligence.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for ROW department, budgets, staff and deliverables.
• Meet with prospective clients, prepare proposals, establish budgets and schedules.
• Supervise ROW project personnel and coordinate with internal departments to meet project requirements.
• Develop scope of multiple complex ROW projects and monitor progress toward deliverables.
