Job summary

Bowman Consulting is seeking a Right of Way Director to supervise the ROW department and direct preparation functions and personnel decisions across the Northeast US. You will lead staffing, strategy, budgeting and client relations while ensuring high-quality, compliant project delivery.

The role requires extensive ROW experience, strong leadership, and ability to work with senior management to meet firm objectives and drive profitability and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Right of Way or related field.
• 15+ years' experience in land, right of way, easement acquisition or similar.
• Minimum 5 years' supervisory experience in ROW.
• Knowledge of ROW, project management, budgeting and regulatory issues.
• Experience managing engineering department finances, marketing and operations.
• Experience reading construction/engineering plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct Right of Way department with staff oversight and quality control.
• Oversee department strategy, budgeting, staffing and deliverables.
• Market Bowman capabilities to new and existing clients and coordinate with internal teams.
• Meet clients, prepare proposals, and manage budgets/schedules.
