Job summary

Percheron LLC is seeking a ROW Agent to manage land and right-of-way tasks across the United States. You will handle inquiries from landowners, developers, and agencies, conduct title research, and negotiate lease acquisitions for pipeline-related projects.

The role requires 2–5 years in land/ROW, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and GIS tools. Office and field work mix with regular updates to project supervisors.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in Land/ROW or related real estate roles
• AA/BA/BS preferred in business, law, communications or PR
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and land databases
• Familiar with Google Earth/GIS; ArcGIS preferred
• Ability to read engineering drawings, alignment sheets and plats
• Knowledge of rights-of-way laws, leases, permits, and franchise agreements
• Experience with acquisition documents, notices, and relocation processes
• Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Research, negotiate, and elect to purchase short- and long-term land leases and ROW for construction
• Handle third-party inquiries regarding encroachments on pipeline assets
• Search land ownership interests and identify required construction permits
• Oversee land-related legal issues including transfers of titles and deeds
• Prepare resolutions and legal forms related to land acquisitions
• Prepare daily activity and special agent reports for complex negotiations
• Liaise with landowners, tenants, developers, and agencies on ownership and encroachment issues
• Review third-party development plans and ROW records to determine conflicts
• Work in databases and GIS to perform ROW tasks
• Maintain status with upper-level ROW agents and supervisors
• Perform other duties as assigned
