Job summary

ERM is hiring Right of Way (ROW) Agents across Multiple Locations in the U.S. to support pipeline and electric transmission projects. The role involves land rights acquisition, licenses, leases, and permits for facilities, with 100% travel and field-based work.

Responsibilities include negotiating with land owners, settling damage claims, researching ownership, and drafting rights documents. Requires high school diploma and 3–6 years ROW experience; strong real estate knowledge and software

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• 3 to 6 years of ROW experience.
• Solid knowledge of real estate values and appraisal practices.
• Proficient with MS Office, Google Earth, ArcGIS and data management software.
• Ability to work in remote locations for long periods.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Must meet criteria identified in Job Demands & Conditions Analysis for Office and Field Positions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse and complex negotiations with land owners or their designees.
• Settle complex damage claims related to property during construction.
• Search courthouse and records to determine property ownership and interests.
• Assist in establishing fair market value ranges for land and rights.
• Draft or supervise documents for rights of entry, easements, leases, permits, and related agreements.
• Ensure compliance with corporate health and safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
