Job summary

ERM is hiring Right of Way (ROW) Agents across Multiple Locations in the U.S. to support pipeline and electric transmission projects. These are project-term, field-based roles with 100% travel, requiring negotiation with landowners and preparation of property rights documents.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years ROW experience, strong real estate knowledge, and excellent communication skills. Benefits include a comprehensive package; positions emphasize safety and project readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• 3 to 6 years of ROW experience.
• Solid working knowledge of PCs, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Earth, ArcGIS and data management software.
• Knowledgeable in real estate values and appraisal practices.
• Ability to work in remote locations for long periods.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must meet criteria in Job Demands & Conditions Analysis for Office and Field Positions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse and complex negotiations with land owners (or their designees).
• Settle complex damage claims with land owners (or their designees) related to property damage during construction.
• Search courthouse and other records to determine present property ownership and interest.
• Advise and assist in establishing fair market values for land and land rights.
• Draft and/or supervise documents for rights of entry, damage claims, contracts, easements, licenses, leases, permits, options to purchase and other necessary documents.
• Comply with corporate health and safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
