Job summary

Children’s Rescue Fund seeks a Roving Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a maintenance team across CRF properties in the Bronx and surrounding areas. You will supervise, dispatch, and inspect repairs, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality in all facilities.

The role requires extensive hands-on maintenance experience, strong supervisory skills, and the ability to manage multiple work orders, inventories, and vendor coordination effectively.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Five (5) years or more in building and property maintenance experience.
• At least four (4) years of supervisory custodial experience in a business or social service environment with three or more workers.
• Familiarity with custodial equipment and processes.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Must have a valid NY State Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day supervision of the Maintenance Team.
• Plan, organize, and assign projects for CRF portfolio maintenance.
• Respond to emergencies during nights, weekends as needed.
• Monitor time and attendance; approve time-off and payroll timesheets.
• Ensure materials and tools are available for assigned projects.
• Inspect work to meet industry standards and safety practices.
• Coordinate and monitor vendor repairs with AVP/DBO; report on facility status.
