Job summary

Children's Rescue Fund is seeking a Roving Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team, dispatch work orders, and ensure safety and quality across CRF properties. You will coordinate with site leadership, manage inventories, and supervise carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and other trades.

A valid NY driver's license, strong communication, and 5+ years in maintenance are required. Position is full-time from the Head Office in Bronx, NY, with on-site responsibilities and occasional on-call

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum five years in building and property maintenance.
• At least four years supervising custodial staff, managing three+ workers.
• Familiar with custodial equipment and tools; must hold NY driver’s license.
• Strong communication, organization, and crisis-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day supervision of the Maintenance Team.
• Plan and assign projects across CRF properties; track progress.
• Ensure safety practices and proper use of tools and materials.
• Respond to emergencies during nights and weekends when needed.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate with vendors for repairs.
