Job summary

WSH Management, Inc. is seeking a Roving Compliance Specialist to audit and ensure LIHTC, HUD, and other owner related compliance across California properties. You will travel to sites, review move-in and recertification files, and prepare required documentation.

This full-time role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and proficiency in Yardi and MS Office. You will report to the compliance manager and collaborate with property teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ experience in LIHTC, HOME, BONDS or Section 8.
• Audits move-in and recertification files for affordable housing.
• Proficient in regulatory reporting to government agencies.

Responsibilities

• Travel to California properties to support compliance duties.
• Audit move-in and recertification files for Affordable Housing.
• Prepare and collect verification documents for move-ins.
• Review move-in paperwork before occupancy.
• Review annual re-certifications for accuracy and compliance.
• Develop and update compliance policies and procedures.
• Update and distribute property-specific forms.
• Respond to emails within 24 hours and report to compliance manager.
• Submit compliance reports to corporate, owner and government agencies.
