Wisconsin Management Company is seeking a Compliance Specialist- Roving to ensure compliance across its portfolio. The role requires extensive travel to properties in Wisconsin and northern Illinois, handling recertifications, file reviews and regulatory duties with a strong emphasis on LIHTC, HUD and Rural Development programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in affordable housing compliance (LIHTC, HUD, Rural Development or similar).
• Deep knowledge of federal, state, and local housing regulations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and plan accordingly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned properties to assist with overdue recertifications, file processing and compliance-related tasks.
• Conduct annual and interim recertifications.
• Review and audit resident files for compliance with LIHTC, HUD, Rural Development and other applicable regulations.
• Work closely with residents to collect required documentation and explain requirements.
• Support property staff in ensuring compliance and serve as interim property manager as needed.
• Communicate proactively with corporate compliance.
