Pennrose is seeking a Compliance Auditor to oversee property management operations across a portfolio, ensuring adherence to LIHTC, HUD and related rental programs. You will collaborate with site staff and operations to maintain continuous compliance and protect Pennrose assets.

The role requires expert housing-program knowledge, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to train staff, review files, and report to the VP of Compliance. Travel between properties may be required.

Formación

• Expert level knowledge LIHTC and HUD programs.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance / property management.
• Proficiency with Yardi, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Organize, prioritize, and multi-task with attention to deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between properties.

Responsabilidades

• Review and approve all move in files and recertification files for accuracy and compliance with the applicable housing programs.
• Provide feedback and training to those who prepare files to eliminate deficiencies.
• Prepare and submit reports for state housing agencies, HUD, investors, and others.
• Maintain rent matrices and ensure units are accurately described in Yardi.
• Collaborate with Regional Property Manager and VP of Operations on utility allowances.
• Answer questions from PMs, RPMs, VP of Compliance with guidance on compliance issues.
• Develop and maintain relationships with state agencies, HUD reps, investors, and others.
• Attend State Agency compliance reviews as possible.
• Conduct on-site file reviews and train staff during visits.
• Ensure rent maximization practices while maintaining program compliance.
• Report weekly to the VP of Compliance detailing activities, issues, and recommendations.
• Submit all required reports on time and complete any other compliance duties as requested.
• Respond timely to move-in and recertification submissions and maintain professional communication.
