Job summary

GC Service Corp in Southern California seeks a Housing Compliance Specialist to evaluate properties and ensure compliance with affordable housing programs. You will determine tenant eligibility for LIH developments and audit lease, income certifications, and other files using Yardi software.

Key duties include performing comprehensive file audits, coordinating reviews, training PMs on compliance, verifying income for HUD, reviewing REAC inspections, and reporting on HUD compliance.

Qualifications

• One year conventional/market rate property management on site experience.
• Bachelor's degree desirable.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive file audits to ensure compliance for each property.
• Coordinate ongoing file reviews and audits, test verification of tenant income for HUD.
• Provide training for PMs on compliance and develop action plans for corrections.
• Explain lease terms to staff and verify documents for completeness and compliance.
• Monitor potential fraud cases and lease violations.
• Conduct annual on-site reviews to ensure HUD compliance.
• Prepare and complete reports detailing HUD compliance.
