Job summary

Bates Trucking and Trash Removal, Inc. is seeking a Route Monitor to supervise waste-collection crews, plan routes, and ensure safe, efficient operations in Virginia. Qualifications

• Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D. certification.
• Three years related experience in the transportation or waste industry.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Previous experience as a commercial (CDL) driver is strongly preferred
• Bilingual is a plus

Responsibilities

• Supervises employees performing waste collections services and manages staffing levels.
• Plan routes and operational activities to meet staffing needs and service quality.
• Review route sheets, payroll and billing; coordinate with other departments as needed.
• Respond to escalated customer service inquiries and resolve issues.
• Enforce safety procedures and company policies; take disciplinary actions if required.
