Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Supervisor.
• Knowledge of the waste industry, preferred.
• Valid California Driver's License and a clean driving record.
• A valid Class A or B California Commercial Driver's license.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English, preferred.
• Previous experience managing drivers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct the activities of drivers, floaters, and lead men.
• Monitor workflows to ensure tasks are completed.
• Manage daily routes, weight slips and route sheets.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints.
• Schedule time off and manage vacation/PTO requests.
• Ensure safety and compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations.
• Train new drivers in Driver Training program and DOT drug/alcohol program.
