Job summary

Liberty Waste Solutions is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate daily service operations, manage communication between drivers, customers, and internal teams, and ensure efficient route execution. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented and able to respond quickly to changing priorities, maintain accurate records, and provide excellent customer service while supporting operational excellence.

This role requires proficiency in MS Outlook and Excel, willingness to work extended hours

Qualifications

1–2 years in a transportation, dispatch or customer service role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
Post-secondary courses or diploma would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Schedule service and satisfy customer needs for service changes.
Dispatch calls to routes based upon designated route and driver location.
Perform driver check-ins at day’s end to ensure complete and accurate paperwork.
Distribute, collect and review route sheets for proper days end data entry.
Coordinate with other departments to resolve service issues.
Interacts with customers, customer service department, sales and Operations staff.
Field incoming calls/emails from customers.
Trouble-shoot and resolve potential delivery and pickup problems before they become issues.
Determine daily level of driver staffing to balance responsiveness and productivity.
Record and distribute information from drivers to appropriate departments.
