Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is hiring a Route Sales Representative (RSR) to manage ordering, sales, delivery, and merchandising of our fresh baked products. You will develop strong relationships with store managers and personnel to maximize sales and meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities include servicing accounts during designated windows, working non-traditional hours as needed, and driving growth through effective route planning and in-store promotions. A DOT medical certificate is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year related experience in retail sales, DSD sales, and/or business-to-business sales.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to obtain DOT medical certification to drive a CMV.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a sales associate and delivery driver to drive retail sales and territory sales.
• Leverage internal data and marketing plans to grow with customers through planning, ordering, and execution.
• Establish and maintain strong customer relations to communicate sales solutions and improve satisfaction.
• Order product using an online state-of-the-art planner to ensure freshest product.
• Support new product introductions and gain shelf space and promotional displays.
