Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling seeks a Logistics Supervisor to oversee route supervisors and drivers, ensuring efficient, safe collection operations across multiple routes. This role requires strong leadership, scheduling, and problem-solving skills to optimize daily performances.

The position manages training, dispatching, and performance evaluations while upholding safety policies and regulatory requirements. CDL and DOT medical card are required to qualify for this role.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Card.
• No more than 3 moving violations in 2 years.
• Ability to travel between offices as required.
• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Oversee personnel needs to maintain trained workforce for collection.
• Manage daily activities of route supervisors and drivers.
• Train and direct employees to improve performance.
• Dispatch daily assignments and monitor productivity.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across routes.
• Plan, monitor, and adjust routes to meet service commitments.
• Maintain records and perform performance evaluations.
• Handle driver time, attendance, and disciplinary actions.
