Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a CDL Driver Supervisor to support route operations, driver safety, and DOT compliance. This role requires hands-on coordination of daily routes, inspections, and paperwork, while ensuring timely service and strong customer communication.

The position demands 1–2 years of CDL driving experience, knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations, and the ability to manage driver activities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ CDL driving experience; lead role experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations.
• Previous waste industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist management with the daily activities of route drivers, including driver observations and inspections.
• Ensure routes are completed by the assigned driver; run routes as needed.
• Manage missed stops by coordinating with dispatch, drivers, and office staff.
• Assist with assigning and tracking daily work orders to drivers.
• Ensure drivers complete paperwork in accordance with DOT regulations and company policy.
• Assist with customer service issue resolution.
