Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Route Manager to lead a team of supervisors and drivers, ensuring safe and efficient waste collection services. You will hire, coach, and evaluate staff, dispatch daily routes, and uphold safety, quality, and productivity standards across multiple crews.

The role requires strong communication, map-reading skills, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, with the opportunity to contribute to community service and company

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to read maps and work independently.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 11-20 employees and route supervisors.
• Manage daily activities and performance of route teams.
• Dispatch daily assignments and monitor safety, quality, and productivity.
• Plan and monitor daily route assignments to serve customers per standards.
• Maintain records and conduct performance evaluations and attendance tracking.
