Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Route Foreman to assist management in supervising a team of drivers and ensuring safe, productive waste collection services. You will help monitor routes, resolve customer issues, and uphold DOT safety regulations.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of CDL driving experience, map literacy, and the ability to lead operations while maintaining safety and quality standards. Some night/weekend work and travel between offices may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience driving with CDL required
• Knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations
• Experience in waste industry a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist management with daily activities of route drivers and inspections
• Ensure routes are completed and monitor productivity goals
• Manage missed stops and resolve customer issues with dispatch
• Maintain driver records and logs per DOT requirements
• Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and safety checks
• Support accident investigation and reporting when needed
