Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a Route Foreman to oversee a team of drivers and ensure safe, efficient waste collection services. The role emphasizes route management, regulatory compliance, and strong problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B required and clean driving record.
• Ability to read maps and navigate route areas.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Shows leadership to support day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist management with daily route drivers activities and inspections.
• Ensure routes are completed and drivers meet schedules.
• Resolve missed stops with dispatch, drivers and office staff.
• Track daily work orders and assign to drivers.
• Ensure DOT/compliance paperwork is accurate and complete.
• Support resolution of customer service issues.
• Maintain logs and knowledge of Hours of Service regulations.
• Monitor safety standards and productivity targets.
• Assist with container deliveries and route execution.
• Prepare pre/post-trip inspections and logs.
