Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. is seeking a Dispatcher to communicate with drivers, respond to service orders, schedule service, and resolve route issues. The role involves data entry, coordination with Customer Service, and ensuring timely updates to operations teams.

You will balance cost and speed of response, assign routes, and monitor daily routes for residential and commercial services. Prior experience in logistics or waste services is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 6 months of related work experience.
• Experience in Waste, transportation, or logistics preferred.
• Prior customer service in a call center environment preferred.
• Good telephone and two-way radio skills; courteous communication.
• Proficiency in MS Office and typing; ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch drivers to calls as received using customer needs, drivers’ locations and loads.
• Assign routes and service tickets to drivers and close tickets daily.
• Plan and monitor daily route assignments for residential, roll-off and commercial drivers.
• Troubleshoot issues and communicate changes to drivers and customers.
• Answer incoming calls from Customer Service and coordinate with managers for follow-up.
• Maintain data in systems like Tower and Trackese; ensure accurate records.
