Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate daily routing for drivers, respond to service orders, and resolve route issues. You will balance cost and speed of response while maintaining clear communication with drivers and customers.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, basic MS Office and data-entry skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Prior experience in waste/logistics and call centers is a plus; office-based environment in Florida.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; minimum 6 months related work experience.
• Experience in waste, transportation, or logistics preferred.
• Customer service in a call center environment preferred.
• Good telephone and 2‑way radio skills; professional communication with internal/external customers.
• Proficiency in MS Office and typing; ability to input data accurately.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks and collaborate with teams.
• Ability to respond quickly to changing priorities and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain contact between drivers and home base to dispatch calls as they come in.
• Assign routes and service tickets to drivers and close tickets daily.
• Plan and monitor daily route allocations for residential, roll-off and commercial drivers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve delivery/pickup issues and communicate changes to Sales staff.
• Answer calls from Customer Service and provide route information; coordinate with managers and drivers.
• Enter data into systems, verify tickets, and maintain accurate records.
• Print and review productivity reports for route supervisors; manage driver devices and equipment.
