Qualifications

• Experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, or customer service.
• Basic understanding of transportation operations; fuel transport is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; data entry proficient.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dispatch software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, schedule, and dispatch drivers based on orders and priorities.
• Ensure deliveries are safe, efficient, and meet customer timeframes.
• Monitor routes and address scheduling conflicts or issues.
• Communicate with drivers, customers, supervisors, and internal teams.
• Handle high volume phone calls and data entry tasks.
• Identify priorities and use resources to maximize efficiency.
• Respond to inquiries and delivery concerns professionally.
• Maintain dispatch records and transportation docs.
• Inform team of schedule changes and updates.
• Support additional dispatch and logistics projects as needed.
