Lineage Logistics is seeking a dedicated Dispatch Coordinator to support the daily scheduling and dispatching of vehicles for loading docks and deliveries. You will collaborate with the Transportation Team to route shipments and maintain dispatch records, ensuring on-time service for customers and compliance with hours-of-service rules.

Ideal candidates have shipping or transportation coordination experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with standard software.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping or transportation coordination environment.
• Willingness to learn transportation management software.
• Proficient Microsoft Office and ability to interact with customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dispatch schedule for drivers and equipment daily to meet on-time service targets.
• Establish collaborative relationships with carriers to optimize usage.
• Use dynamic routing to efficiently route outbound shipments.
• Create and maintain inbound/outbound orders in the dispatch system.
• Monitor drivers' hours to prevent violations and manage workload.
