Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist in the United States. You will cover delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable, learning multiple routes and ensuring seamless service for customers.

You will load and unload garments, maintain vehicle safety, and adhere to DOT and safety requirements while delivering excellence and timeliness on each assignment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• DOT requirements including a physical exam must be met.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.
• Prior experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Tech-savvy and able to learn new systems quickly.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency across multiple routes to provide top-tier service.
• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain relationships.
• Resolve customer requests independently and effectively.
• Accurately manage invoices, conduct inventory audits, and maintain vehicle safety.
• Follow traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Support new account installations and route rerouting; upsell where appropriate.
• Share customer feedback with location leadership and monitor local competition.
