Job summary

UniFirst seeks a Route Coverage Specialist to support delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable. You will learn multiple routes, deliver garments and products, and uphold safety and customer service standards on a fast-paced schedule.

You will collaborate with service and management teams, manage inventories and invoices, and ensure timely, accurate service while maintaining a strong customer relationship.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on feet for extended periods.
• DOT compliance and physical examination may be required.

Responsibilities

• Learn multiple routes and provide top-tier service across routes.
• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes.
• Assist with collecting used garments and ensuring timely returns.
• Manage invoices, conduct inventory audits, and maintain vehicle safety.
• Collaborate with service and management teams on routes and installations.
• Communicate customer feedback and market activity to leadership.
