Job summary

Staples is seeking a Cover Delivery Driver in a fast-paced supply chain environment. You will drive routes to cover vacations and absences, delivering office supplies and providing excellent customer service. You may load vehicles, plan efficient routes, and uphold safety standards every day.

Requirements include a valid license, ability to pass DOT physical, 6-month DOT medical card, and ability to lift up to 70 lbs. 21+ and basic English skills are needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Pass DOT physical and drug screen.
• DOT medical card within 6 months.
• Basic English language skills.
• Lift up to 70 lbs; push/pull up to 400 lbs with assistive equipment.
• Must wear safety shoes.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Drive route assignments to cover vacations/absences 50%+ of the time.
• Provide Outstanding customer service and resolve issues; accept product returns.
• Deliver office supplies on assigned route; load vehicles when volume requires.
• Organize and load product for delivery using manifests for efficient routes.
• Uphold safety culture and perform pre-trip vehicle inspections.
