Job summary

Staples is seeking a Cover Delivery Driver to support our supply chain network. You will drive routes to cover vacations and absences at least half the time, delivering office supplies and providing excellent customer service. You’ll load vehicles as needed, organize deliveries for efficiency, and uphold safety practices across every shift.

Strong driving history and basic English required. Learn and use POD devices and GPS technology to ensure accurate deliveries, while maintaining vehicle

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen (No THC).
• Must obtain a 6‑month DOT medical card.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• Full‑Time associates must be able to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs and maneuver up to 130lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Drive route assignments to cover vacations/absences at least 50% of the time.
• Provide outstanding customer service and resolve issues, accept product returns as required.
• Transport products safely and deliver office supplies on assigned routes; load vehicles when volume requires.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform pre‑trip inspections.
