Job summary

Staples is seeking a Cover Delivery Driver to support our Supply Chain network. You will drive routes to cover vacations and absences, delivering office supplies with a focus on safe, courteous service and problem resolution.

You will load vehicles as needed, organize deliveries via the manifest, and optimize routes. Staples emphasizes safety, customer care, and representing the brand on the road.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving history.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen (No THC).
• Must obtain a 6‑month DOT medical card.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• Overtime hours may be required based on business needs.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and maneuver heavy items with assistance.
• Must wear safety shoes and be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Drive a variety of route assignments to cover for vacations/absences at least 50% of the time.
• Provide outstanding customer service and resolve problems; accept product returns as required.
• Transport products safely and deliver office supplies on your route; may load vehicles.
• Organize and load product using the manifest to ensure an efficient route and schedule.
• Prioritize safety and foster Staples’ safety culture; be the brand on wheels.
