Job summary

Project Resources Group, Inc. in Birmingham, AL seeks a Construction Coordinator to manage a route-based field assignment on fiber networks. You’ll be the on-the-ground presence, planning daily routes, driving long distances, and monitoring routes for issues to prevent outages.

Ideal candidates will have a valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and strong communication skills. Prior field experience and knowledge of fiber fundamentals are a plus; safety and weather readiness are

Qualifications

• Requires a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Reliable personal vehicle for field work and mileage reimbursement.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and walk long distances.
• Proficient in MS Office for reporting and communication.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and drive assigned fiber route with daily windshield time.
• Monitor existing fiber routes and identify risks to the line.
• Reference 811 locate tickets and maps to anticipate digging activity.
• Provide first-level issue mitigation and document route changes.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.
• Ensure work quality and adherence to the statement of work.
• Report to field supervisors on route status and issues.
