Job summary

Project Resources Group, Inc. is seeking an outside plant expert to join as a route-based Construction Coordinator. You will be the eyes and ears on fiber networks, running an assigned route and monitoring for issues in the field.

If you enjoy outdoors, driving, and solving field problems, this role offers daily windshield time and hands-on responsibility for keeping networks safe and reliable. Strong communication with clients and homeowners is essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle with auto insurance meeting state requirements.
• Dependability—punctual and reliable to complete daily field tasks.
• Attention to detail when reviewing tickets, maps and prints.
• Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Physical ability to walk, bend, sit, stand, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft tools for reporting and communication.

Responsibilities

• Drive an assigned fiber route on a recurring basis with substantial windshield time.
• Visit and monitor existing fiber routes to identify risks to the line.
• Review 811 locate tickets, maps and prints to stay ahead of digging activity.
• Provide first-level issue mitigation and escalate changes in infrastructure.
• Report to the field to verify quality and adherence to SOW.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors and homeowners.
