This field role requires a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and comfort working outdoors in all weather. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Detail-oriented when reviewing tickets, maps, and prints.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move around field sites.
• Strong communication and reporting skills using standard tools.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily assignments and plan the route.
• Drive an assigned fiber route with substantial windshield time.
• Monitor existing fiber routes to spot risks.
• Review 811 locate tickets, maps, and prints before/during digging activity.
• Provide first-level problem-solving to mitigate issues on site.
• Log changes in infrastructure or conditions along the route and escalate where needed.
• Report to field supervisors to verify work quality and adherence to SOW.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.
