Qualifications

  • B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering with 5+ years of mechanical design experience.
  • Advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
  • Experience with rotor hardware, reading blueprints, and manufacturing methods.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for access to program information.

Responsibilities

  • Support Military Development Fan/LPC program through validation tests/assembly, ramp, and production build phases.
  • Provide assembly/test support for IBRs during validation and initial production builds.
  • Identify tolerances, improve manufacturability, support MFG with vendors, and implement engineering changes (Class II/Production Alteration).
  • Execute Engineering First Piece Reviews on Rotor Hardware.
  • Create IBR models and sector data for aero and structures analysis.
  • Support Quality Notifications and non-conformance analyses.
