RTX Pratt & Whitney in Middletown, CT is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience across design cycles, from concept initiation to optimization. You will work on static and rotating components, integrating detail parts into engine modules and supporting robust manufacturing handoffs, while pursuing innovative solutions and potential IP development.

The role is onsite, requires U.S. citizenship, and offers relocation eligibility.

Formación

• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace eng with 5+ years of mechanical design experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years in engineering.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Sound mechanical engineering across the design cycle, focusing on concept initiation and optimization.
• Engineer static and rotating components and compressor modules; integrate parts into engine systems.
• Resolve complex mechanical problems with a balanced system solution and oversee execution.
• Maintain clear communication with all levels of the organization.
• Coordinate product definition data and drawings for proposals and manufacturing.
