Job summary

JLG, an Oshkosh company, seeks a Sales Trainee to join its North American Field Sales team. The program rotates through Inside Sales, Field Aftermarket, and Whole goods sales, Marketing, Finance, Purchasing, and Manufacturing, spending 50% of time with customers to build relationships.

Successful candidates will learn all sales areas, enter orders, and support forecasting while growing cross-functional skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
• Willingness to travel 50–70%.
• Experience in manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Understand and learn all areas of JLG sales team through a rotational program.
• Work with the inside sales team to enter orders and field customer calls.
• Act as an inter-department liaison coordinating essential company activities for the sales team.
• Partner with sales team members to align on customer and regional needs or trends.
• Enter customer information and configure machines meeting current and future demands.
• Analyze regional sales and order book entries to support forecasting.
